Snapshot Sunday

Altighty lovely people, I have a confession to make. I think I am Instgram obsessed...shocker. I know I am definitely not the only one! I had this sudden urge to share some of my fun photos with you all today. Enjoy!?

This photo was in my post recapping the Brazos Bend State Park trip with the parents. Aren't they cute!

This is my day on Easter Sunday! It was absolutely beautiful and I just really enjoyed spending time with all my family! I even attempted to fly a kite with my precious cousin.

On Monday, it was off to work. What would work be without some great shoes??

On Tuesday, my best friend Cathryne and I ventured downtown Houston for some shop fun. We explored all the faves including Anthropologie, J. Crew, Pottery Barn and Francesca's. SWOON. And of course to top the day, made it to Sprinkles for a Red Velvet cup cake :) I want one now just thinking about it!

While at Anthropologie, I stumbled upon this gem of a mug and HAD to get it! I'm already an avid tea and coffee drinker, so when I found this little guy I had to give it a home!

Well I guess that us about it! I hope you enjoyed a bit if my week!

Brazos Bend State Park

Yesterday my parents and I took a little trip out to Brazos Bend State Park in Texas and I thought I would share a bit of our beautiful afternoon with you all!

This park is known for their abundance of Alligators!

There are Alligators in the middle of the picture on both sides.

Get out there and explore!

A Sweet Spring Saturday

Well, today was my little sister's birthday party, and it was quite delightful.

I just wanted to share a bit of our spring theme with all of you!

Divergent Series

Can we just start this by pausing to give Veronica Roth a 'round of applause'......
I am sooooo in love with the Divergent Series!!!! When I first heard about it, I like everyone else, thought "great a Hunger Games wanna be." I stand corrected!!! Yes, they are both set in the future, but they are seriously so different!!!

I wont spoil anything for anyone, but these books are intense! I know they are YA (young adult), but I know people in their 40's that love the series. Roth does a great job relating to all ages and it is written beautifully.

The heroine is named Tris (short for Beatrice), and she is so stinking awesome! I love how strong she is and how much went into writing her thought processes in situations. It made Tris relate-able, even when some of the things she does is so out there.

Now...the hero...Tobias. He is amazing. That is all i am saying.

These were so good! Go pick them up and lock yourself in your room for the weekend with some tissues.

You will laugh, cry, yell, and be rendered in suspense. Even if you don't do these things out loud, you will be doing them inside.

2. Now this product is definitely one of my favorites this month! Not Your Mothers, is already a great brand, but this is amazing. Their beach spray gives texture and hold to your hair without residue or oils. Not to mention, it smells LOVELY.

3. This is the newest addition to my closet! The Kimonos from Cotton On are fantastic! They are unbelievably soft and comfortable, while adding a stylish flare to your summer wardrobe. Plus, they are reasonably priced.

4. I hear my stomach talking! If you are like me, and looove Mexican food, this one is for you! These enchiladas are delicious and very easy to make! And, these are from the Pioneer Woman, so you know they are good!
